A Foundational Migration includes essential data like contacts, matters and users based on vendor requirements and your implementation choices.

Practice Management
A Practice Management migration extends beyond the foundational data to include additional case-specific information, such as detailed client and matter data, tasks, and notes. Depending on how you’ve used your current software, there may be other types of information you wish to migrate as well. We’ll work with you to ensure everything important makes the move.

Documents and Emails
A Documents & Email Migration is exactly what it sounds like. Whether your files are stored in shared server folders, cloud-based storage, a document management system, or across multiple platforms, CMG will carefully migrate your data to the new system. Throughout the process, we ensure that all associated metadata is preserved, so nothing valuable is lost during the transition.

WIP + Balance Forward
The most popular and economical billing migration is the WIP + Balance Forward Billing Migration. It offers a “clean slate” experience and minimizes the amount of data to migrate. This migration includes: Unbilled time and expense entries, opening accounts receivable balances and opening trust balances.

Validated Full Detail
Some firms determine that the cost of maintaining legacy systems is too high, or simply prefer to migrate more, or all, of their historical billing data.
With a Validated Full Detail migration, the CMG Migration Team will recreate invoices, trust accounts, and ledgers in detail for a specified timeframe, ensuring a more complete and accurate financial history in your new system. (No worries, this migration also includes your unbilled time and expenses).
